Pilates Classes

Core training is essential for strengthening the abdominal, back and pelvic floor muscles.  By strengthening these muscles you increase stability and strengthening for the back, and improve muscle tone for the abdominals.  This is not only a great complement to any other type of training you do, but if you do suffer with back pain, it's a great way to help the back become stronger and in turn, potentially ease back pain over time.  Within a Pilates session you also work on muscle tone for the rest of the body, improving flexibility, reducing stress and helping you to generally relax and escape from the general daily grind.  A very satisfying workout for both the body and the mind. 

If classes are not suitable for you, Pilates can be done on a one to one basis or a small group basis.
